Description

Built in the early 1800s, this granite lighthouse was constructed to aid in navigation and prevent French invasion under Napoleon. It features a 12-meter round granite tower with a lantern and gallery. The lighthouse shows a white light for 7.5 seconds and red for 2.5 seconds, with a range of 16 nautical miles. It also includes a fog horn activated manually by Guernsey Port Control.
