If you are travelling to Guernsey from the UK you do not need a passport, but most airlines do require you to show a valid photo ID before boarding (valid forms of identification include passport, driving licence, or citizen card).
Check-in time is usually an hour prior to departure, but do check with the airline before you fly, just in case. Most airlines provide an online check-in service, but you can check in at the airport too.
